What is Used in the Energy and Electrical System for Caravans?

In order to produce its own energy in the caravan, we need basically 5 main parts. These are solar panel, charge controller for solar panel, 220V battery charger, battery and inverter, respectively. Let's explain these products one by one;
1. Solar panel: These are products consisting of glass and aluminum frames when viewed from the outside, which convert the ultraviolet light received from the sun into electrical energy.
2. Battery: The electricity produced by solar panels must be stored so that it can be used during the day and at night. The product to be used for storage is batteries.
3. Solar Panel Charge Controller: These are devices that store the energy coming from solar panels in batteries, regulate the energy coming from the panel, cut off the energy when the battery is full, and show us with their screens how much energy we have left.
4. 220V Battery Charger (Rectifier): These are battery chargers that charge our 12V batteries with the 220V energy we receive from an external source and cut off the energy when the batteries are full.
5. Inverter: These are devices that convert the 12V energy in our batteries into 220V electrical energy that we use in standard homes.

How to Calculate the Energy System in a Caravan?

A few points should be taken into consideration when calculating the energy system in the caravan. These are, respectively, whether the caravan will be used in summer or winter, the number of devices used inside, their size and hours of use,

for example; mini refrigerator or large refrigerator, coffee machine if available, hair dryer or mini washing machines, which are now trendy, etc.
Generally, with the most basic packages, necessities such as mini fridge, lights, mobile phone charger and hydrophore can work without any problems in summer.
